Business-model transformation
Shift from in-house manufacturer to a lean sales and order-fulfilment business: purchasing centralised, a new ERP system introduced, KPI reporting built.
Commercial and operational leadership in the industrial Mittelstand: structure for growth, controlling, ERP, proven cost reduction. As a certified AI Manager (IHK), I say where AI genuinely pays off in a business — and where it just burns money.
I'm a commercial and operational leader in the industrial Mittelstand — with the commercial perspective that purely technical management rarely brings. What drives me is steering companies safely through times of upheaval: streamlining structures, cutting costs, getting processes to run.
Over more than three decades I've led purchasing, production and logistics and, as a two-time managing director, carried full commercial and operational responsibility: restructuring, building controlling functions and four ERP rollouts that held.
As a certified AI Manager (IHK), I judge AI soberly: I say what pays off in a business and what doesn't. I speak the language of the boardroom as fluently as that of the shop floor — grounded, not from an ivory tower.

Strategic purchasing and global sourcing with over 100 suppliers across 8 countries, plus lean optimisation (stock −30%, lead times −45%) over ten years.
A trading company for medical consumables (hospitals, B2B/B2C): built every commercial structure, finance and sales function from the ground up.
Complexity gets expensive when nobody makes it visible. That is exactly where I start.
My core strength: KPI cockpit, contribution margin, liquidity, cost-out.
